The In-Home Experience

What does a perfect day with your family look like? Is it breakfast in bed in your pajamas? A pool party in the backyard? Or making cookies and snuggling on the couch, reading books together? Whatever it is that you love to do with your family at home is what we do during your session! THIS is how we tell your family’s story in the best way possible.

These are the sessions you will look back on and remember how much your toddler loved reading Goodnight Moon with you on the couch. Or how your tween wanted foot rubs every night before bedtime (been there, done that).

This is where we document all of the amazing things that make THIS time in your life so special. It’s a totally different experience than my other sessions but one of my favorites to photograph, simply because I know the joy of looking back through these memories and having it all come rushing back, like it was yesterday.

Each session includes 15 digital images, available for immediate download from your edited gallery, as well as assistance with any questions you have during the process (including what to wear and how to prepare your family for session day).

    Email me using the link below so we can talk about your session and find the best day and time for you and your family.

    Once you’ve scheduled your session, we will set up a time to discuss all the details and I can learn more about your family so that I can tell your story in the best way.

    Contact me so we can start planning your session!

  • Step 2

    Time for your perfect day! We’ve already planned all of the details so now it’s time to relax and enjoy spending time with your family, doing the things you all love to do together while I capture your perfect day.

  • Step 3

    Once I’m finished editing your images, you will receive a link to your edited gallery where you will be able to choose and download the 15 images included in your session fee. Additional images will be available for purchase as well.

    You will also receive a link to download an app with your chosen images so you have them on your phone to share with friends and family.

Frequently Asked Questions…

  • What is the difference between and Family Session and an In-Home Session?

    Family Sessions are photographed at select places in the Tampa area, usually around sunset and are more lifestyle-based, meaning I will give you direction through-out the session but they are less posed than traditional portrait photography. In-Home Sessions are, as you probably guessed in, photographed in the home. These sessions are more documentary-style, meaning I will give you direction on where to be for the best light but then step back and just photograph you and your family enjoying your time together.

  • Why should I choose an In-Home Session?

    In-Home Sessions are great for families that have special activities that they want to incorporate into their session. It could be a Sunday morning tradition, like making pancakes and eating them in bed. It could be a collection of things that characterize your life right now that you want documented. No matter what you decide to include, it’s my favorite way to tell your family’s story!
