Hello!
Things you should know about me…
I've lived in Tampa for 25 years but grew up as a military brat and moved every three years when I was younger. I’m addicted to coffee, reading in my hammock and snuggling with my cats. I love cheese (but will never ask your kids to say it during a session)!!
In high school, I wanted to be a wildlife photographer for National Geographic but instead worked as a zookeeper for eleven years after I graduated from college. I've been married to my best friend for almost twenty years and am a mom to two amazing and funny teenagers who have completely changed the way I see the world and the way I photograph it.
When I had my twins 16 years ago, I made myself crazy trying to photograph every little thing they were doing. I didn’t want to forget a thing. And as much as I loved capturing the day-to-day activities and milestones, what I loved more was photographing the connection between my daughters.
My passion for family photography started with documenting our lives when my children were younger and I know I’m not alone in finding my way to photography through my family. Being a mom makes me a better photographer because I know that relationships are the heart of what makes each family unique.
Since birth, my girls have always had the most amazing bond and one of my greatest joys has been documenting that connection. Capturing that unique relationship with each family I work with is my mission with every session I photograph.
