I’ve been a photographer since I was in high school but only started photographing families after my girls were born. I love meeting new people (probably because I’m an Air Force brat and moved every three years growing up). Before I became a mom and professional photographer, I was a zookeeper and worked with lions, tigers and (no, not bears) hippos!

I’m addicted to coffee, reading at the beach, traveling and snuggling with my 4 cats (and kids, when they’ll let me). I LOVE cheese (but will never ask your kids to say it during a session).

Like many of you, I’m a mom. I have twin girls in high school. And as they say, the days are long but the years are short… and I’m still wondering how they got to be this old.

With twins, every stage my girls went through was both the first and the last time I would get to experience it. Sometimes this was a blessing, but more often it wasn’t and each birthday that passes is a little bittersweet, knowing that I won’t see that stage again. But this has made me aware of how important it is to document all of the things that make each stage, or chapter, in your family’s story special.

As a busy mom, I understand what it’s like watching the years go by way too fast and feeling like there aren’t enough hours in the day to get everything done. I can’t help with everything on your to-do list but if documenting this chapter of your lives is one of them, let me show you how easy that can be!
