This is more than just a photography session…what I am offering you is time spent with the people you love most, doing what you love to do together.  Creating images that you will return to when you want to remember what your children were like at that stage ….before their first haircut...after they lose their first tooth...the way they look at you when they need a snuggle...how they've finally grown taller than you. And through it all, capturing the special relationship your family has with one another and telling YOUR story. 

 

Sessions are very relaxed, casual and most important, FUN! My photography style is best described as ‘lifestyle’, meaning there won’t be any awkward poses or begging for smiles from your little ones…only natural interactions between you and your family. Outside of the session, I work with all of my families to ensure that the entire process, from scheduling your session and choosing wardrobe and location to completing your photography session and choosing print products, is as stress-free and easy as possible.

No matter what session you choose, I have found that the most successful sessions are ones where everyone is relaxed and ready to enjoy being themselves without the added pressure of ‘performing’ for the camera. Mom and Dad can help by just relaxing and letting the kids be themselves!! Often, the best images are captured when everyone is looking at each other and not at the camera…

 

The location and time length of the shoot will vary depending on the type of session you are interested in:

Lifestyle Sessions are typically one to two hours long and can be photographed in the comfort of your own home or at one of your favorite locations, whether it be the beach, the park or some other special place you want to remember. The session fee for a Lifestyle Session is $150.  

​

Storyteller Sessions are half-day sessions (lasting 5-6 hours) and are photographed in your home. These sessions capture 'a day in the life' of your family and are a perfect way to remember all of the little things that make up your family's story. The session fee for a Storyteller Session is $300. 

​

Sessions fees for both sessions include an in-person pre-session consultation, the photographer's time and talent during the session, hand-editing of carefully selected images from your session and an in-person ordering session approximately 2-3 weeks after your session. Digital files and print products are not included in your session fee.  

​

Session fees cover travel within a 15 mile radius of Original Carrollwood in Tampa. There is a $50 travel fee for all sessions outside this range. 

​

During the pre-session consultation, we will discuss a day, time and location for your session, as well as ideas for wardrobe. Bright colors, fun accessories and hats are always encouraged! Whatever you decide to wear, remember to choose outfits that reflect your personal style and have fun with it!!

 

We will also discuss activities that you and your family can do together during your session. This can include cooking, flying kites, blowing bubbles or something else your family loves to do together. Which activities you choose to do during your session are not important…I find that it simply allows each family to enjoy being together instead of focusing on the camera.  

In addition, we will talk about what you would like to do with your images and where you would like to display them. I offer a beautiful array of products not available through most consumer print labs and the pre-session consultation is where you'll have the opportunity to handle everything I offer to see the quality for yourself. The more I know about the products you love the most, the more I can customize your session to meet your needs. Whatever you are interested in, I offer the highest quality products available.

Most importantly, the pre-session consultation allows me to meet your family and get to know them before the day of your session. I find that this helps to make sessions more comfortable for everyone!

Two to three weeks after your session, we will meet again where you will view your images in an online gallery. Once you've had a chance to view your gallery, I will help you decide on your favorite images and how you want to display them. I offer a la carte pricing on all of my products as well as collections that are a significant savings over the a la carte price. Clients typically spend between $400-750 on photographic products. We will work together to find the products that are the best fit for you! Orders are placed within 1-2 days of your ordering session and are delivered to you within 4-6 weeks.

To maintain the level of personal service I offer to each of my clients, I shoot a limited number of sessions each month. Because of that, I typically book several weeks out. If you know you are interested in a session, please contact me right away so I can reserve a session for you.
